Food Preservation Lending Library

The Bernalillo County Extension Food Preservation Lending Library is now open. The equipment available to borrow includes a dehydrator, a food processor, a pressure canner, a boiling water bath canner, and fermentation equipment. ServSafe Food Protection Manager Course and Exam - In Person

The 8-hour course (including a lunch break) reviews the ServSafe Manager Book, 9th Edition. It covers critical principles including: personal hygiene, cross contamination, time and temperature, receiving and storage, food safety management systems, training hourly employees, and more.

New Mexico Youth Food Preservation Workshop - Online via Zoom

Calling all junior food scientists for an introduction to the exciting world of food preservation! Participants will learn how to how to safely dehydrate, freeze, water bath can and start the fermentation process.

Extension Get Fit - In Person

Get fit in a friendly and fun group, at your pace. Extension Get Fit is a community-based strength training program that is fun and doable targeted to midlife to senior participants.

2025 On-Demand Pesticide Applicator Training - Online

This fully online training has two separate sections, one for individuals needing pre-license training and the other for individuals needing CEU's to maintain their pesticide applicators license.
