Kitchen Creations is a cooking school for people with diabetes and their families. This 4 part series is taught by an NMSU Extension Home Economist and a Registered Diatitian. Kitchen Creations is funded by the Diabetes Prevention and Control Program of the New Mexico Department of Health. It is free of charge to the participants. The session include: #1 Meal Planning, #2 Balancing Carbohydrates, #3 Vegetables, Beans and Grains and #4 Heart Healthy Cooking. Classes 2,3 and 4 class particpants prepare recipes and eat them.
