4-H is a nonformal, hands-on, practical educational program for youth. It is the youth Development program of the New Mexico State University Cooperative Extension Service. 4-H is where there is fun in learning and learning is fun!
4-H is for all youth, wherever they live-in suburbs and cities, on farms and ranches. 4-H serves youth from all backgrounds and interests. It teaches both boys and girls through 4-H clubs, special interest groups, school enrichment groups, after school programs, and more!
Youth, ages 5-19, can join. Older members may be involved in special leadership, global education, and recognition opportunities.
4-H is more than you ever imagined. From computers to citizenship, livestock to leadership, rabbits to rocketry- kids have fun exploring more than 200 projects on nearly any subject.
